Die (nicht erwähnte) Autorin war die Schwägerin des britischen Konsul in Tripoli und schildert hier diverse Aspekte des Lebens am Hof des Paschas mit einmaligen Beobachtungen bezüglich des Alltags im Harem. In speziellem vom Buchbinder angefertigtem Kartonschuber. Ledereinband, goldgeprägtes Rückenschildchen, abgerundete Buchecken, TADELLOS. Frontschnitt/Fußschnitt nicht ebarbiert (glatt geschnitten). Altogether excellent condition. +++ The author of this book is seemingly Richard Tully's sister in law,“Miss Tully“ who also stayed in Tripoli.
